Product Description
Dichroic film is also called Rainbow film, colorful film, magic color film, laser rainbow film, etc. It is completely different from the color plastic film that we commonly use in color printing and dyeing. It is two or more kinds of resins with different refractive indices that are melted and extruded and stacked in sequence for more than 100 layers, each with a thickness of only a few hundred nanometers.
The basic film thickness is between 16u-36u, and the main color systems include two series of products: green light on red background and purple light on blue background. Dichroic film is a multi-layer film, which makes full use of the principle of light interference. Under the irradiation of light, the refraction and interference between the layers change the multi-angle layered color and luster between the layers, which is like a rainbow effect in the sky. The magical effect of the Dichroic rainbow film is that the rich light effect of the rainbow film substrate itself at different distances and angles will present a completely different magic effect.
Dichroic film can reach Dynamic Effect – color shifts when viewed from different angles using Multi-layer optical film technology. Reflected colors- are different than the colors in transmission. It can be used in applications such as shading fins, balustrades, exterior glass,glass partition walls, shower door glass, artistic glass and glass furniture.

Dichroic Rainbow film is a kind of decorative film product. We produced the film with UV resistance, so it can be used for both indoor and out door.
There are both adhesive type and also non adhesive type.
For adhesive type, it can apply the any smooth surface.
For non adhesive type, it can be coated with other materials or laminated into glass as a decorative interlayer.
The Dichroic film could not bear high lamination temperature. Suggest to use temperature 120 degree or below to process. Lamination program need to be adjusted based on machine type, thickness of glass during process.
