Glass Cleaning and Drying Machine

Short Description:

This machine consists of a feeding section (1600 mm), a cleaning and drying section (2250 mm), and a discharge section (1600 mm). It is primarily designed for cleaning flat glass and is equipped with high-quality brushes and high-pressure air nozzles, offering rapid drying capabilities. This machine features fast cleaning speeds, excellent cleaning performance (with no water marks remaining at the rear), stability, reliability, ease of operation, and simple maintenance requirements. It is mainly used for cleaning tempered glass, laminated glass, LOW-E glass, and other similar products.

Overall Machine Structure 

● The machine body features a mortise-and-tenon assembly structure (steel plate powder-coated + upper and lower beams made of stainless steel), eliminating the concept of permanent failure and allowing all body components to be replaced throughout the entire service life. The cleaning chamber is equipped with an integrated lifting function, with a maximum lifting height of 350 mm, facilitating routine equipment maintenance and servicing.

● The cleaning room upper rack utilizes 6mm thick stainless steel plates with mortise-and-tenon welding and linear bearings (patented technology), enabling the adhesive roller to press against the glass smoothly and steadily.

Key features: high load-bearing capacity, excellent support performance, resistance to deformation and wear, and maximum assurance that the adhesive roller will not damage the glass.

● The equipment is equipped with safety guards. It is manufactured using high-quality SUS-304 stainless steel plates that have been laser-cut, CNC bent, and welded together, providing effective safety protection.

● The fan, equipped with a sound-insulating housing, is installed at the upper section of the cleaning machine’s air-drying stage. Key features: The fan and air knife utilize an internal circulation airflow design; the fan blows hot air through the air knife, which is then recirculated from the bottom of the fan housing back into the fan impeller to provide continuous heating for glass drying, thereby significantly ensuring optimal drying performance. The fan employs a high-pressure fan configuration and incorporates a built-in heating function. 

 

 Feed Section 

● The inlet section is equipped with a water collection bowl, fabricated from high-quality SUS-304 stainless steel plate using laser cutting, CNC bending, and welding processes. This design ensures that the surface of the inlet rubber roller is immersed in water, effectively removing dust and glass powder from the roller’s self-cleaning surface.

● The cleaning section is equipped with two independent spray systems and water tanks, enabling a two-stage rinsing process to remove impurities and glass powder from the glass surface, ensuring that all impurities and glass powder on the glass surface are thoroughly washed away before the glass enters the cleaning chamber.

● The glass inlet section is also equipped with a water-blowing air knife on its upper surface; after the glass undergoes two rinsing cycles at the inlet end, the air knife blows water onto the glass surface to dry out most of the moisture, after which the glass enters the cleaning chamber. 

 

 Cleaning Section

● The cleaning room is equipped with three sets of brushes, each set featuring high-pressure water spraying; the spray water can completely cover the glass surface.

● The three brushes on the cleaning chamber: the first two are hard brushes equipped with pneumatic lifting cylinders; the third brush is a soft brush designed for cleaning LOW-E glass. When cleaning LOW-E glass, the first two brushes automatically lift via a button-operated cylinder, ensuring that the hard brushes do not come into contact with the glass surface.

● The brush drive system employs independent drive for the top and bottom brushes, utilizing imported XPA belts for transmission; the brush motor is a geared motor. Key features: high torque output and ensures that the brushes do not stall due to variable frequency conversion (VFD).

● Hard-bristled brush bristle diameter: 0.25 mm; soft-bristled brush bristle diameter: 0.07 mm

 

 Wind-drying section

● The air-drying section features one set of aluminum alloy die-cast linear air nozzles and one set of multi-angle aluminum plate air nozzles; each set of air nozzles consists of an upper air nozzle and a lower air nozzle.

● The air knife’s outlet width is adjustable, and the air knife features a heating function.

 

 Water System

● The water tank is divided into four independent compartments by four partition plates; the tank is installed on the exterior of the equipment, facilitating routine water replacement and cleaning. The lower part of the tank is equipped with casters, making it easy to pull out for cleaning.

●The pump features a quick-connect connector, facilitating routine maintenance and servicing.

● The water tank features an automatic filling function: when water levels are low, it automatically replenishes the tank; once the tank is full, the automatic filling function stops. The water tank also includes an overflow port. The final brush assembly corresponds to the fourth water tank; when the water level reaches full capacity, the dirty water on the surface will overflow into the third water tank, then sequentially overflow into the second water tank, then overflow into the first water tank, and finally discharge from the tank—ensuring that the water in the final water tank remains consistently clean.

●The fourth water tank features a water heating function with adjustable temperature. When all water tank valves are fully open, all water tanks can be heated.

●The water tank is fabricated using high-quality SUS-304 stainless steel sheets that have undergone laser cutting, CNC bending, and welding processes.
